The University helps develop the creative, rational and scientific capacity, technological, ethical, social, economic, political, cultural and far-reaching values, through research . Furthermore, we want to stimulate activities related to research, education and social outreach processes through interdisciplinary actions leading to the formation of “Corsaludista” students.
Research is considered essential for the development of CORSALUD, and it is important to make the institution interrelate with teaching and training. Therefore, taking into account that the accreditation of educational programs have requirements for the integration of research within the learning process, it has been necessary to foster, promote and consolidate a research culture for students, teachers and graduates, through a program called "Seed Research."
CORSALUD wants to provide high quality education grounded in the teaching-learning processes developed through social outreach activities, university extension, and scientific, humanistic and Technologic research, to train technicians, technologists, professionals and postgraduate students with human qualities and ethical principles and committed to the process development and the community welfare locally, regionally and nationally, as well as be able to participate actively in the processes of globalization, internationalization and competitiveness.
